Anti-Doping Education for National Netball Team with basic information about their rights and responsibilities in the doping control process and outlines each phases of the process: athlete selection, athlete notification, sample collection, laboratory analysis, and results management.



RAISE II – Reconciliation-Alleviation-Inspiration-Social Responsibility-Engagement

was held at Sports Ministry Auditorium Colombo 02 on 24 January 2018. Mainly focused on “Nutrition vs Supplements” by a panel of Dr.Seevali Jayawickreme (Director General of Sri Lanka Anti Doping Agency) , Chandrishan Perera (Former Sri Lnka Rugby Captain & National Coach), Talavour Alilima (Managing Director of Power World Gyms), Kushil Gunsekara (Founder & Chief Trustee of Foundation of Goodness), Thaabit Ahamed (Foundder and Coach of TAFA Coaching), Thariq Thulba [Moderator](Past District Governor of Rotary International District 3220).

Special Education programs on anti-doping will be implemented at village level.

Minister Jayasekera stated that Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency continues to hold special education programs that will be implemented at village level.

Sports Ministry Secretary Jayantha Wijeratne, Director General of the Ministry of Sports Saman Bandara, Director General of the Institute of Sports Medicine, Dr. Lakshman Edirisinghe, Chairman of National Dangerous Drugs Control Board were also present.
